Separating Engine from Clutch Housing (ROPS Model)
1. Hoist the engine with a the hoist and chain.
2. Disconnect the brake rod (1) (R.H., L.H.).
3. Disconnect the clutch cable (2).
4. Remove the steering support mounting screws.
5. Remove the engine mounting screws and nuts and separate the
engine from clutch housing.
(When reassembling)
• Apply molybdenum disulphide (Three Bond 1901 or equivalent)
to the splines of damper disc boss.
• Apply liquid gasket (Three Bond 1141, 1211 or equivalent) to joint
face of the engine and clutch housing.

Separating Engine from Clutch Housing (CABIN Model)
1. Remove the floor cover and duct retainer (1).
2. Remove the seat under cover (3).
3. Remove the duct (2).
4. Hoist the engine with a the hoist and chain.
5. Remove the engine mounting screws and nuts and separate the
engine from clutch housing.
(When reassembling)
• Apply molybdenum disulphide (Three Bond 1901 or equivalent)
to the splines of damper disc boss.
• Apply liquid gasket (Three Bond 1141, 1211 or equivalent) to joint
face of the engine and clutch housing.
