3-3-7 Format Output and Configure Match String
Output Formatting Editor
The Output Formatting Editor can be enabled by switching Format Output in the Setup view's left
panel to On, as shown below, and then clicking the blue Format: string. The string in the example
below is Format: {S1}\r\n.
The Output Formatting Editor provides many ways in which barcode data can be formatted and parsed
before it is output as a data string. You can use the Output Formatting Editor to add a Pream-
ble and Postamble to the beginning and end of the data output string.
