3 Basic Operation
 Shrink Dark
Shrink Dark increases the light cell size of a symbol. It is useful for increasing the light cell size of a
light-on-dark Data Matrix symbol. The example below shows a DPM in the handheld's field of view
when Shrink Dark is enabled.

 Connect Dark
Connect Dark removes minor light defects of dark cells. The example below shows a DPM in the
handheld's field of view when Connect Dark is enabled.
