(3) Align the side sill plate - front to the position of the masking tape applied in step (1).
CAUTION:
• Make sure there are no gaps between the side sill plate - front and the cover side sill - front INN.
• If there is a gap, adjust the application position of the side sill plate - front to the left or right direc-
tion.
(a) Cover side sill - front INN
(4) Peel off the backing sheet on vehicle inside of the side sill plate - front.
(5) Press-fit the side sill plate - front.
(6) Peel off the backing sheet on vehicle outside of the side sill plate - front.
(7) Press-fit the side sill plate - front.
3) Attach the side sill plate - rear.
(1) Apply masking tape (c) to a position at 65 mm (2.56 in) (b) away from the rear end of the cover side
sill - rear INN (a) toward the front side of the vehicle.
(2) Attach the backing sheet (d) on vehicle inside and the backing sheet (e) on vehicle outside to the front
side with masking tape (c).
