Pilot Distance Incorrect
When making a new tube connection it is absolutely vital to follow the following guidelines.
N O T E
Failure to observe this procedure will lead to an incorrect pilot distance, which will result in

dead volume – actual dead volume and not delay volume.
1 Slip the nut and ferrule over the tube. The end of the tube should stick out
