LC Injector HTC/HTS Description and Installation
Object Positions
Defining the Valve Penetration Value
Before performing the following steps, make sure Object positions X, Y, and Z for LC Vlv1
N O T E
are properly defined and the complete DLW syringe assembly, is inserted into the injection
unit.
Complete the following steps to define the Valve Needle Penetration Depth:
1 On the handheld controller select the sequence:
2 Press F1Check Pos. The Injection Unit moves to the previously defined LC
3 Highlight the item Needle Penetr with the cursor bars by pressing ENTER.
4 Slowly rotate the outer knob to adjust the needle penetration depth.
5 When the syringe needle tip enters the valve needle guide, slow down the

6 Move down stepwise until the bottom of the cross bar of the DLW Needle
7 Press ENTER to save the needle penetration depth value.
