INSTALLA TION
NOTE: Thoroughly clean all mating surfaces with
the appropriate solvents to assure that no grease or
oil is present during reassembly.
NOTE: Carefully position the rear main seal/adaptor
evenly onto the assembly sleeve. The rear main oil
seal lip MUST NOT roll over the edge of the tool.

dowel sleeves fit in t o t h e gu ide h oles (F ig. 33). Ca r e

bolt s a n d t igh t en t o 9·Nm (80 lbs.in ) (F ig. 33).
(3) Tigh t en t h e M6 oil pa n bolt s t o 9N·m (80 lbs
in ) a n d t h e M8 bolt s t o 20 N·m (15 lbs ft ).

st a ges (F ig. 33). 45N·m (33 lbs. ft .) t h en 90°.
