2. Install the reverse idler gear making sure to install
a washer on each side of the gear; then install the
input driveshaft.

3. Install the assembled countershaft assembly taking
care to position a washer on each end.
4. Install the reverse shift fork; then install the gear
shift shaft making sure the thrust bearing and races
are positioned correctly and the washers are in
place.
