23. Remove the thrust washer and countershaft drive
gear from the opposite end of the countershaft.
24. Remove the reverse dog retaining snap ring; then
remove the reverse dog and reverse dog drive
bushing.

25. Remove the snap ring securing the reverse gear;
then remove the reverse gear. Account for a thrust
washer and the reverse gear bearing and bushing.
26. Remove the low gear locking washer; then rotate
and remove the splined low gear retainer.
