ALBERO A CAMME
Controllare che le superfici di lavoro
delle camme siano prive di striature,
solchi, scalini o ondulazioni. Le
camme troppo usurate sono spesso
causa di una irregolare fasatura che
riduce la potenza del motore.
Attenzione
Manipolare con estrema cura,
l'albero a cammes. Eventuali graffi o
anche impercettibili ammaccature
dovute ad urti, cadute dal banco,
ecc... possono infatti pregiudicare il
rendimento del motore.
Controllare che i passaggi olio non
siano ostruiti; pulire accuratamente
con liquido sgrassante ed aria
compressa.
Note
I perni tenditori mobile e fisso
orizzontale sono distinguibili per la
lettera "O" marcata su essi.
PULEGGE - CINGHIE -
TENDITORI
Le pulegge della distribuzione non
devono presentare tracce di usura o
altre irregolarità.
Ad ogni rimontaggio sostituire
sempre la ghiera di bloccaggio
puleggia.
Note
Controllare la sede linguetta
all'interno della flangia puleggia: non
deve presentare segni di usura e/o
essere impostata.
Le cinghie devono essere in
perfette condizioni, senza
screpolature, tagli o deformazioni.
Importante
È buona norma sostituire le
cinghie ad ogni revisione del
motore.
CAMSHAFT
Check that the work surfaces of the
cams are free of scratches, grooves,
steps and waving. Worn cams are
often the cause of irregular timing
and cause power losses.
Warning
Handle the camshafts with
great care. Possible dents,
scratching caused by shocks, falls
from the bench and so on may affect
operation and lead to severe engine
damage.
Check that inner oil ducts are not
obstructed; thoroughly clean with
degreaser and blow with
compressed air.
Note
Horizontal mobile and fixed
tensioner pins can be told apart
thanks to the letter "O" punched on
them.
ROLLERS - BELTS -
TENSIONERS
Belt rollers must not show any signs
of wear or damage of any kind.
Change the belt roller locking ring
nut at every reassembly.
Note
Check the keyway inside the
belt roller flange: it must not be
worn and/or show signs of driving.
Belts must be in perfect condition:
without cracks, cuts or kinks.
Caution
It is good working practice to
change the belts at each engine
overhaul.
