router rip

Use this command to start the RIP routing process. Close the RIP
routing process with the no form of this command.
Global configuration

router rip

no router rip
There is no RIP routing process.
Start the RIP routing process.
This example shows how to start the RIP routing process.
ZXR10(config)#router rip
ZXR10(config-router)#
network

show ip rip

Use this command to display basic information about the running
of RIP.
All modes
show ip rip [vrf <vrf-name>]
vrf <vrf-name>
This command is disabled by default.
According to the output information of this command, the user
can make sure whether the configuration is correct and make a
diagnosis of IP fault.
This example displays the basic information of the running of RIP.
The following information indicates RIP is now in the state of run-
ning.
ZXR10#show ip rip
router rip
auto-summary
default-metric 1
distance 120
validate-update-source
version 2
flash-update-threshold 5
