passive-interface

Use this command to configure an interface as a passive interface.
After that, the interface cannot send Hello packets, receive any
IS-IS packet or establish adjacent relationship with other routers.
Router configuration
passive-interface {default |<interface-name>}
no passive-interface {default |<interface-name>}

The interfaces are passive ones by default.
If there is an interface which is the only one starting IS-IS, it can
be configured as passive-interface mode.
This example prevents routes from updating on interface fei_1/1.
ZXR10(config)#router isis
ZXR10(config-router)#passive-interface fei_1/1

redistribute

Use this command to configure the filtering policy for other proto-
col advertising routes to IS-IS. Cancel the redistribution with the
no form of this command.
