Ethernet Interface Commands
The commands described in this section configure connection parameters for the
Ethernet port and wireless interface.

Enters Ethernet interface configuration mode

Specifies the primary and secondary name servers IC-E
ip address
Sets the IP address for the Ethernet interface
ip dhcp
Submits a DHCP request for an IP address
ip management address Sets a static IP address for management access
ipv6 address
Sets the IPv6 address for the Ethernet interface
ipv6 dhcp
Submits a DHCPv6 request for an IPv6 address
shutdown
Disables the Ethernet interface
show interface ethernet Shows the status for the Ethernet interface
This command enters Ethernet interface configuration mode.
