START
Remove the fuser unit.
Check the resistance of the thermistor. Is it approximately 100K ohms at room temperature?
NO Replace the thermistor.
YES Check the resistance of the fuser lamp. Is it zero ohms? (Zero ohms - lamp is good, Infinite
Ohms - lamp is bad)
NO Replace the fuser lamp.
YES Install the fuser unit.
Is the problem resolved?
YES End of procedure.
NO Replace the following assemblies in the order listed:
