OPERATION
SMOOTH START
(In cutting and carry mode)
When you start digging operation with the blade automatic control, the digging depth becomes gradually deeper
so that the shape after the digging becomes smooth. This function is called Smooth Start.
Enable the function of Smooth Start.
Make the smooth start function disabled if you want to start digging at steep angle.
(A) Smooth start is disabled
(B) Smooth start is enabled
REMARK
Regardless of the smooth start setting (enable or disable), the travel speed of the machine is automatically limit-
ed only at the start of digging with blade automatic control.
EFFECTIVE USE OF CUTTING AND CARRY MODE
Travel the machine around the jobsite. In cutting and carry mode, the terrain information of the places where the
machine traveled is used so that the digging and carrying operations can be performed smoothly.
Digging and carrying operations can be performed using blade automatic control even in the places where the
machine does not travel. However, the blade load may be excess or deficiency. Adjust the load with the blade
control lever.
