In order to permanently remove an operational HDD/SSD module that is part of
a RAID array from the server, you first need to delete the array using iRMC S6
web interface.
CAUTION
All data on all HDDs in the array will be lost when deleting the RAID
array!
Be sure to back up your data before deleting a RAID array.

guide.
Removing a 2.5-inch HDD/SSD module
▶ Pinch the green locking clips and open the locking lever, see
▶ Pull the HDD/SSD module out a few centimeters.
▶ Wait about 30 seconds.

HDD module has been removed and for the HDD to come to a stop.

CAUTION
RAID 0 provides no data redundancy.
In case of an HDD module is defect, all
data are lost!
Removing an HDD/SSD module from a RAID 1 or

the removed drive needs to be replaced
immediately by an HDD/SSD module of the same
or larger capacity.
