5.3.11. S7200 System Upgrade Operation Steps

The S7200 supports USB-disk NAND flash format system upgrade to perform a
system upgrade.
Upgrade operation steps
1. Prepare a USB-disk.
Ensure the USB-disk is empty and formated in FAT or FAT32.
2. Loading the upgrade files to your USB-disk
Load the upgrade file S7200_upgradepackageyymmddhhmmss.bin (Note: The file
name must remain exactly as provided by the factory, it is CRITICAL that the file
name, not be modified) directly on the root directory of the USB-disk (NOT in a
directory). If multiple S7200_upgradepackageyymmddhhmmss.bin files exist
simultaneously on the same USB-disk root directory, the program will automatic
sort by file name, and the user decides to choose which one upgrade package.
The upgrade file S7200_upgradepackageyymmddhhmmss.bin includes a date and
time, for example:
S7200_upgradepackage20150711091425.bin shows that the program packet
time stamp is July 11, 2015 and 9 o'clock 14 minutes and 25 seconds. The program
uses this time stamp to confirm which firmware is the latest version.
Upgrade instructions:
With the instrument powered OFF, insert the USB-disk into the S7200 USB port,
then press and hold the button, simultaneously press down on the power
on button, until the instrument powers up and enters the upgrade function
interface screen. Once the upgrade interface screen comes up, (as shown below)
