RMS detection: recommended for total power measurements or noise-like signals
(example: CDMA, QAM, etc...)
RMS detection is an effective method for root-mean-square detection. It
calculates the value of all sample points allocated to each pixel point, and the
result corresponds to the signal power in the selected bandwidth. In RMS
detection mode, it is recommended that the video bandwidth filter (VBW) be
equal or greater than 3 times of the resolution bandwidth filter (RBW).
