3.1.3 Modulation Characteristics Measurement
The measurement of the modulation characteristics
mines the maximum frequency deviation of all 8 bit sequences of the payload.
Additionally the average value of the maximum frequency deviation of a packet is cal-
culated. Thus, the equipment under test is configured such that packets with bit pat-
terns "11110000" and "10101010" are transmitted alternately. According to the RF Test
Specification this sequence has to be repeated 10 times.
