INJECTOR

INSPECTION
Start the engine and let it idle.
Confirm the injector operating sounds with a sound­
ing rod or stethoscope.
REMOVAL
Remove the throttle body (page 5-81 }.
Disconnect the MAP sensor vacuum hoses and IDC
solenoid valve vacuum hose.
Remove the bolts and fuel rail.
Disconnect the IACV distribution hoses.
