Chapter 2 Installation guidelines
Installation notes for a knowledge worker environment
In a knowledge worker environment, where skill-based routing is not required, a
direct connect configuration is used

Before you proceed, ensure that the prerequisites described earlier in this chapter
are met. The following requirements are also necessary:
•
You must have administrative rights and be familiar with Microsoft TAPI
operation to install this software.
•
TCP/IP must be configured and operational on both the Succession host link
and on the TAPI server.
•
IAPG must be set to 1 on the Meridian Switch (overlay 11) for each DN that
will be monitored by the Symposium TAPI SP. This enables the required
messaging from the M1 PBX to the Symposium TAPI SP.
