The required operating system and service pack is installed on the server and
the server is functioning correctly. Refer to Chapter 7 Desktop PC
Compatibility on page163 and Windows 2000 Service Pack Compatibility on
page 164. Also refer to the Engineering Guidelines for Symposium TAPI
Service Provider for Succession, part number 213345.1 for more information.
The ACDProxy service login and password are set up and are the same as the
login and password used by the telephony service.
The user login and password are set on the server.
The following section describes how to configure the TAPI environment on
Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003 servers.

Avoiding basic configuration problems

You can avoid basic configuration problems if you comply with the following
guidelines:
Run TCMSetup on all client machines if using Windows 2000 Server

Verify that TAPIAdmin is a domain account.

Verify that TAPIClient is a domain account.

Configure TCP/IP on server and client machines.

Install service pack 4 or higher on a Windows 2000 server.
