106 Chapter 4 Configuration guidelines
In the network TAPI/IVR configuration window you can configure the following
elements:
• IP address of the IVR server.
• Home location code (HLOC) of the Succession switch for the IVR system,
which is the same as the HLOC printed on the switch, in overlay 21.
• Port address. The default port value for the IVR port is 5000 but you can
change this if you discover port conflicts.
• Protocol. TCP/IP is the required protocol.
• Remote TAPI server host addresses. To attach call data to calls during an
ACD transfer or a NACD overflow, you must specify a remote host address
for each TAPI server in the network.

Adding an IVR remote host address

To add an IVR remote host address:

In the Network TAPI/IVR Server window, click Add to display the Add
Remote Host Address window.
