5.2.1. Sampling adjustment
[Sampling adjust] is a function for automatically adjusting the sampling time. The
sampling time is a value set on the WORK setting window described later. The exposure
time of the photosensor is set so that the acquired spectral light intensity is not saturated
in excess of the maximum value of the spectral light intensity during background
measurement, reference measurement, and sample measurement. The automatic
adjustment procedure using this sampling adjustment function is described below.
Spectral measured values cannot be accurately obtained when spectral light intensity is
saturated during each measurement.
(1) Compare the sample and reference to be measured, select the sample or
reference in which the maximum value of the acquired spectral light intensity is
higher, and arrange it in a stage.
(2) Put the system into the ordinary measurement state.
(3) Select [Measure] - [Sampling adjust] from the file menu.

Description
Performs measurement; this function is the same
as that for [MEASURE] on the operation panel.
Performs the background measurement for
measurement; this function is the same as that
for [BACKGROUND2] on the operation panel.
Display and non-display can be switched by
using system settings. Set this to non-display
during factory settings.
Performs reference measurement; this function
is the same as that for [REFERENCE] on the
operation panel.
Performs a background measurement for
reference; this function is the same as that for
[BACKGROUND1] on the operation panel.
Adjusts the sampling time automatically; this
function is the same as that for [SMPLNG
ADJST] on the operation panel. Usage of this
function is described in the section below.
