[In a measurement with a rotation stage]
(1) Turn on the controller supply unit, the computer, and then launch the software.

(2) Set up the work configuration file.

(3) Put the BK7 reference sample.

(4) Adjust the position of the BK7 reference sample.

(5) Adjust the sampling interval.

(6) Obtain the background value.
Refer to 4.9 Obtaining the background value.
(7) Obtain the reference value.

(8) Put the sample to be measured.

(9) Choose an objective lens.

(10) Choose the ring slit

(11) Adjust the position of the sample.

using the rotation stage.
(12) Conduct a spectrometry.
Refer to 4.11 Spectroscopy.
(13) Check the result.

(14) Quit the application; then turn off the controller supply unit and shut down the
computer.
