3.3. Installation and replacement of halogen lamp

(1) Loosen and remove the two fixing knobs of the lamp house, and pull it out vertically.
(2) The pulled-out lamp house has a lamp socket to
install a halogen lamp. Push the two levers down
and insert the two pins on the lamp base into the
holes in the socket. If the lamp does not lean or
it is not inserted correctly, the unevenness of a
ring image like the right photograph will occur.
When unevenness is checked, please check
whether insertion of a lamp is corrected.
(3) Release your finger on the levers slowly.
(4) Insert the lamp house back into the original position. Make sure that the lamp
connector is toward the back surface of the main unit. Confirm the threaded holes and
the lamp house are properly aligned. Tighten the two fixing knobs to secure the lamp
house.

For your safety, you should always remove and install a halogen
lamp by first turning off the power switch, unplugging the cord, and
when the halogen lamp and the socket are cool to the touch,
remove and install the lamp.
Do not touch the glass part of the halogen lamp with your bare
fingers. Wipe off any residue on the bulb from your fingers and any
dirt because they can cause blackening on the bulb, which will
damage it.
The lamp house needs to be inspected. Conduct regular inspections
according to Appendix: Checklist for inspection the lighting
device (lamp house).
Do not watch the light of the halogen lamp directly.
