As the focus is set, click the REFERENCE button to measure the reference. If the data is
saturated, adjust the sampling interval and conduct the background measurement again.
Measurement of the blue sample plate
Bring the reflecting mirror under the blue glass into focus as in the measurement of the
reference, and then click the MEASURE button to conduct a measurement.
Confirmation of direction of wavelength
The value of nine valley in the following graph is confirmed. Choose [Setup]-[System] on
the File menu to open the system configuration window. It is necessary to input the
password before the system setting window is opened. Please input initial value "uspm" of
the password. Enter a value in the [CALIBRATION] field. As the value increases, the
measurement data shifts to a shorter wavelength in 1 [nm] increments. Comparing the
graph of reflectance generated from the measurement with the reflectance graph of the
calibration (CALIB) sample, enter the measurement value that best matches.
Save the shifted value
Click [OK] to save the value in the system configuration window. Load the file to use the
calibrated value when launching the product later.

Calibration and offset of reflectance
No calibration and no offset means of the device offer the calibration of the reflectivity
of this product for the relative value measurement.
But We can provide you with our document (for a fee) describing the calibration of
BK7 reference sample, if necessary.
Please contact the supplier where you purchased the unit or our sales department.
