Steps

Verify that the frame or structure into which the Alcatel-Lucent 1665 DMXtend Shelf is

installed is properly grounded.

Verify that both 10 ampere circuit breakers on the Alcatel-Lucent 1665 DMXtend are in

the OFF position. These breakers are located on the front of the Alcatel-Lucent 1665

DMXtend shelf.

Note:

Alcatel-Lucent 1665 DMXtend circuit breakers to the OFF position.

Disconnect the power cables from the backplane connectors PWR A on the right side of

the shelf and PWR B on the left side of the shelf.
