Main Key Switch Test
1. Disconnect terminals (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), (7), (8), (9), (10),

(11), (12) and (13).
2. Set analog multimeter for continuity. With main key switch

(1) set to OFF, ON, START, and PUSH IN positions, check for
continuity between a clean chassis ground and one of these
terminals (test one terminal at a time):

If meter shows continuity in any of these tests, replace main key
switch.
3. With main key switch set to the OFF position, check for

continuity between terminals (4) and (6). If meter does not
show continuity, replace main key switch.
Check for continuity between the following terminals, if

meter shows continuity, replace main key switch.
