Jog operation (Pr. 15, Pr. 16)

Jog operation is used to setup the machine.The frequency and acceleration/deceleration time for Jog
operation can be set. As soon as the frequency inverter receives the start signal, the motor is accel-
erated at the frequency entered in parameter 15 (jog frequency) using the preset acceleration/brake
time (parameter 16). Jog operation can be performed in either of the external and the PU operation
mode.

These parameters are displayed as simple mode parameter only when the parameter unit (FR-PU04/
FR-PU07) is connected. When the parameter unit is not connected, the above parameters can be set
when Pr. 160 "User group read selection" = 0.
Jog operation from outside
When the jog signal is on, a start and stop can be made by the start signal (STF, STR). For the terminal
used for Jog operation selection, set "5" in any of Pr. 178 to Pr. 184 "Input terminal function selection"
to assign the function.

This setting is related to to the reference frequency set
in Pr. 20 and the increments set in Pr. 21.

Pr. 21 = 1
Setting range: 0–360 s
Increments: 0.01 s
The acceleration and deceleration times cannot be set
separately.
