If the system has an unplanned shut down, make sure that the cause of the shut down is
identified and corrected before restarting. If in doubt, contact supplier.
Note:
The high temperature alarms on Edwards vacuum pumping systems are system
protection trips and should be considered as an abnormal running condition. If a system
has tripped due to any high temperature alarm the system should be examined and the
reason for the alarm identified. Once the fault has been corrected the system should be
left for a minimum of 30 minutes before attempting to restart.
