6. Remove the filter-L switch.

7. Remove the seven M3 screws with a Phillips #1 screwdriver securing the left-side cover.
8. Remove the left-side cover from the projector.
9. Remove the AC detect switch.

10. Transfer the filter-L switch and AC detect switch to the new left-side cover.
11. If required, replace the left-side cover.
12. To re-install, follow these steps in reverse order.

Removing the bottom cover

To remove the bottom cover, complete the following steps.
1. Remove all covers from the projector.
