Removing and installing the
Warning! If not avoided, the following could result in death or serious injury.
• Do not look into the projector lens when the laser is on. The bright light may result in permanent
eye damage.
• A Christie qualified technician is required for lens removal and installation.
To remove and install the lens, complete the following steps.
1. Center the lens.
a. Ensure the projector is on.
b. Ensure that the lens is at or near its center position.
Attempting to remove the lens when at a large offset may cause damage to the lens
assembly.
c. To center the lens, press the Lens Horizontal or Lens Vertical button.
d. Press Enter.
2. Turn the projector off and disconnect it from AC power.
3. Remove the lens.
a. Use an M3 Allen key to release the screw on the Lens Release button.
b. Press the Lens Release button and rotate the lens counterclockwise to release the lock.
c. Remove the lens.
