5-21-2. Adjusting the Z-phase of the YA-ball screw

(1) In the status that
the YA-motor
and coupling are
fixed and the
YA-ball screw
and coupling are
free, move the
table to
position where
the near sensor
is turned ON.
(2) Put a mark at
the position
where the near
sensor is turned
ON.
(3) Escape the table
to a position
where the
coupling can be
seen.
(4) Detect the
Z-phase when
rotating the c oupling
and put the mark. (See Figures 5-21-2-2 and 5-21-2-3.)
(5) Make the Z-phase mark matched with the sensor ON angle mark, move the table toward the
servomotor by 1/4 rotation, and then fix the coupling firmly.
