If the ramp is quicker than the system's ramp
down on, the ramping is done generatoric. This
results in a higher U
which is limited using the
DC
brake chopper/resistor brake.

Function:
This parameter defines the threshold voltage
at which the selected function in 14-10 Mains
Failure should be activated. It may be
considered to choose 90% of the nominal
mains as the detection level, depending on
the supply quality. For a supply of 380 V
14-11 Mains Voltage at Mains Fault should thus
be set to 342 V. This results in a DC detection
level of 462 V (14-11 Mains Voltage at Mains
Fault * 1.35)

14-11 Mains Voltage at Mains Fault
Range:
14-12 Function at Mains Imbalance
Operation under severe main imbalance conditions reduces the
lifetime of the motor. Conditions are considered severe if the
motor is operated continuously near nominal load (e.g. a pump
E
F
or fan running near full speed).

NOTICE
Note for converting between VLT 5000
and FC 300:
Even though the setting of the Mains
Voltage at Mains Fault is the same for
VLT 5000 and FC 300, the detection
level is different. Use the following
formula to obtain the same detection
level as in VLT 5000: 14-11 Mains
Voltage at Mains Fault (VLT 5000 level) =
Value used in VLT 5000 * 1,35/sqrt(2).

Function:
This parameter defines the Kinetic Backup Time
Out in flux mode when running on low voltage
grids. If the supply voltage does not increase
above the value defined in 14-11 Mains Voltage at
Mains Fault +5% within the specified time, the
drive will then automatically run a controlled
ramp-down profile before stopping.
