Pressure zone separation (width 18 ... 52 mm)
Festo P.BE-VTSA-44-EN en 1101f
The pressure zones are separated from each other through
special seal plates (see Section 1.2.5). Each pressure zone
must be supplied with compressed air through a pneumatic
supply plate or the right end plate with lateral connections
(see Fig. 3/3).
Note
If the VTSA/VTSA-F valve terminal is also equipped
•
with other valves, operate valves with ident. code VV
(reversible 2x2/2-way valves) in a separate pressure
zone with separate exhaust ducts (3) and (5).
Note the following in the case of type VTSA... valve
terminals which are operated with an internal pilot air
supply and which have several pressure zones:
The pilot air supply for all solenoid coils is branched
•
centrally from supply port (1) in the right end plate
(see Fig. 3/3) or the soft-start valve.
The pressure zone, which is supplied via port (1) on the
•
right-hand end plate, must be operated at a pressure
which corresponds at least to the pilot pressure required
for the valve terminal (see Appendix A, Tab. A/6,
Fig. A/1).
