The following figure shows the assignment of the supply and
exhaust ports to the valves using an example of a VTSA valve
terminal with blocked ducts (1), (3) and (5).
The ports (1) or (3/5) are:
– For the pressure zone on the outside right:
– On the right end plate if the valve terminal is fitted
with end plate type VABE-...R-... or type VABE-...RZ-...
– On the pneumatic supply plate of the outside right
pressure zone if the valve terminal is fitted with end
plate type VABE-...RZ-...B1.
– For each further pressure zone:
On the pneumatic supply plate that lies within the relevant
pressure zone.
The position of the supply plate within the pressure zone
(left, centre or right) is arbitrary.
Ports (12) or (14) on the right end plate are for valve terminals
with pilot control by means of external pilot air supply.
By mounting an additional supply plate within a pressure
zone you can provide additional supply air or extract exhaust
air.
