Setting the pressure regulator with lockable rotary
knob
Proceed as follows:
1. Turn the key 90° in a clockwise direction. The rotary knob
is pushed upward through spring force. The turning knob
is in the regulating position.
2. Turn the rotary knob completely closed in the direction
of "–".
3. Slowly pressurise the VTSA valve terminal.
4. Turn the rotary knob in the "+" direction until the desired
pressure is displayed on the pressure gauge. The per-
mitted working pressure (see type plate) must not be
exceeded. Correctly pressurised, the supply pressure p1
is at least 0.5bar higher than the output pressure p2.
5. Press the rotary knob downward against spring force until
the end position.
6. Turn the key 90° in an anti-clockwise direction. The pintail
of the lock runs out and locks the rotary knob. The regulator
cannot be adjusted.
7. If the key cannot be turned in the end position, the rotary
know is in an intermediate position. In this case, turn the
rotary knob clockwise or anti-clockwise a few degrees
until it can be noticeably pressed down some millimetres.
