1. Summary of components
Pressurizing
Exhaust process:
1-22
AB-pressure regulating valve
(identifier R4-...-6 and R4-...-10)
The AB-pressure regulator regulates the air pressure in
ducts (4) (A) and (2) (B) after the pressure medium has
passed through the valve.
During the exhaust process, the exhaust flows in the valve
unregulated from duct (4) to duct (5) and from duct (2) to
duct (3) via the pressure regulator.
Restrictions:
The exhaust flow is restricted by the pressure regulating
valve.
The pressure regulating valve cannot be set in the exhaust
state, e.g. the pressure regulating valve for duct (4) can-
not be set if the valve pressurises in switch position from
duct (1) to duct (2) and exhausts from duct (4) to duct (5).
Application examples:
If two different working pressures are required at ports
(2) and (4) instead of the operating pressure of the valve
terminal.
If it is not possible to use the reversible pressure regulat-
ing valve, e.g. when 2x2/2-way valves or 2x3/2-way
valves with ducted solenoid exhaust (82/84) or when a
flow control plate is used.
