End plate with axial supply ports (type VABE-...R-...) for operating the
valve terminal with internal pilot air.
•
If the VTSA... valve terminal is also fitted with reversible 2x3/2-way
valves (0, code P, Q and R), the pilot air must also be supplied over 1
port (12). The pneumatic spring of these valves is supplied via this
port.
Note:
– Valve terminal with soft-start valve: Observe the VABV-
S6-1Q-...assembly instructions.
– The internally branched pilot air is supplied to the valves on this end
plate only via duct (14). If the valve terminal is operated exclusively
with internal pilot air, it may only be equipped with valves which
pass on the pilot air from control side 14 to control side 12. This is
guaranteed with Festo valves. Valves from other manufacturers might
have to be additionally supplied with external pilot air via port (12).
End plate (type VABE-...RZ-...) with axial supply ports, for operating the
valve terminal with external pilot air supply.
Supply the external pilot air over 2 port (14).

– If the VTSA... valve terminal is also fitted with reversible 2x3/2-way
valves (ident. code P, Q and R), the pilot air must also be supplied
over 1 port (12). The pneumatic spring of these valves is supplied
via this port.
– Under certain conditions (see Section 3.4.1), you can vent the pilot air
and venting air via port (12).
