2.3 Interfaces and connectors
X1P1: Ethernet interface
X1P1 is the LAN connector of the RTU.
Note
No connection to the Internet
The LAN connector is not suitable for direct connection of the RTU to the Internet. To do this,
an external router with suitable security mechanisms must be connected.
XR1A1 R: Antenna connector mobile wireless
An antenna is connected to the SMA socket if communication via the mobile wireless
network is intended.
XR2A1 GPS: Antenna connector GPS (RTU3031C)
A GPS antenna is connected to the SMA socket if position determination or time
synchronization via GPS is planned.
X12 BAT IN: Connector for battery module (on the side)
Here, you connect one or two optional battery modules along with up to two battery
expansion modules.
