The factor for the duration of the update cycle is configured in the following. One, two or all
three conditions can be configured.
● Activate limit value
When you enable the option, you enable a limit value 'high' or 'low' for reducing the
duration of the basic cycle. You can enable the conditions independently of each other.
– Lower limit value (process value)
– Upper limit value (process value)
● Activate threshold
If the option is enabled a threshold is monitored as the change of the process value
compared with the last acquired value.
– Value change

Factor for reducing (or increasing) the reduction factor for the previously activated
situations
● Changed update cycle
Here the basic cycle and the resulting Cycle of the input are displayed when the reduction
factor has changed.

If the process value falls below the low limit value, the basic cycle is run with the
reduction factor that can be configured below instead of with the standard reduction
factor.
If the process value exceeds the high limit value, the basic cycle is run with the
reduction factor that can be configured below instead of with the standard reduction
factor.
Percentage change compared with the last read value as of which the basic cycle runs
with the factor that can be configured below instead of with the standard reduction
factor.
