1.9 Performance data
● 1 connection to the SINEMA RC configuration server (dynamic)
● 2 connections to an FTP/FTPS server (1 control connection + 1 data connection, both
dynamic)
● 1 connection to a mail server (dynamic)
● 1 connection to an NTP server (dynamic)
● 1 connection to a DynDNS server (dynamic)
● 1 connection to a DNS server for name resolution when using DNS names on the WAN
interface (dynamic)
User data and time stamps of data
The individual process values of the inputs/outputs are transferred to the master station in
data frames with a time stamp. You will find details in the section System time (Page 116).
Frame memory (send buffer)
The RTU has a send buffer for the values of data points configured as an event.
The RAM area for the send memory has a size of 256 KB. Due to the different frame sizes
with the various communications protocols, the maximum capacity of the send buffer differs
for the protocols.
Maximum number of data frames in the send buffer:
● TeleControl Basic: Max. 10000 data frames
● ST7: Max. 7696 data frames
● DNP3: Max. 10907 data frames
● IEC: Max. 5036 data frames
Memory space for process data in the "Logging" operating mode
Memory space for process data in the "Logging" operating mode is only limited by the size of
the plugged in SD card.
Due to the restriction of the FAT32 file system, a single log file can have a maximum size of
4 GB.
Texts for messages (SMS / emails)
Up to 20 texts can be configured in the WBM for sending by e-mail or SMS.
Every text can contain up to 6 placeholders for process data.
Buffer for messages and files
The RTU stores up to 12 e-mails, up to 12 FTP transfer files and up to 12 SMS messages
that should not or cannot be sent immediately.
