Program blocks
5.7 Blocks for analog value functions
5.7.8
Analog value processing
Function
The block has the following functions:
● Smoothing
The function reads in the analog signal at the input according to the number of "Sampling
cycles" and outputs the mean value.
As an option the value output can be scaled with the following functions:
● Gain factor
● Zero point offset
In the program a total of up to 4 of these blocks can be used.

The number of "Sampling cycles" specifies how
many values of the analog signal are acquired for
one processing cycle of the block.
One sampling cycle corresponds to one update
cycle. In every update cycle, the RTU acquires one
value.
The number of update cycles is the same as the
number of "Sampling cycles".
