From the list, select the device to which the tag is assigned.
● Tag type
– Analog input
HART
● HART variable
Select the variable you want to use:
– PV: Primary variable = Main variable
– PV Loop Current: Current in mA
– PV Percent Range: Percentage of the range of the main variable
– SV: Secondary variable = 1st Auxiliary variable
– TV: Tertiary variable = 2nd Auxiliary variable
– QV: Quaternary variable = 3rd Auxiliary variable
– Device Variable: Up to eight different variables
Only for SITRANS LUT400 devices
The following variables only apply in conjunction with SITRANS LUT400 devices. They
are read out with the LUT device-specific HART command "252" and written into the
process image of the RTU. Other devices do not support the command or use the HART
command "252" for other purposes.
– LUT400 Daily Totalizer
– LUT400 Actual Totalizer
● Current sensor value
Display of the value of the input signal.
● Current process value
Display of the converted process value, which is calculated from the sensor value after
the specification of the measuring range (see below).
● Read
Click the button to display the current value of the input from the process image of the
RTU.
HART variable polling
By clicking the "Read" button, the previously selected HART device is queried directly (not
from the process image) for all variables supported by the RTU. The displayed data helps to
select the correct variable for the RTU process image. The following are read out:
● PV Loop Current
● PV Percent Range
● PV, SV
