Upon successful completion of the POST process, the monitor
sounds a one-second tone indicating that the monitor has passed
the POST.

The monitor displays dashes [ - - - ] and the Pulse Search indicator
is not lit, indicating the monitor failed to detect an O
You can turn off the backlight by pressing the LIGHT softkey and
then pressing OFF.
Note: Any of the following conditions turn on the backlight:
• pressing any of the softkeys
• pressing and holding the HELP/CONTRAST button
