3. Press the ALARM SILENCE button to silence the slow-pulsing
piezo tone.
Note: Once the monitor is silenced, the N-600x sounds a piezo
tone every three minutes as a reminder of the primary speaker
failure condition. The N-600x also sounds the piezo tone to
annunciate low, medium and high priority alarms during this
time. If an N-600x monitor is reporting a primary speaker failure is
powered off, it cannot be powered on again.
WARNING: If an N-600x reports a primary speaker failure,
do not use the monitor longer than necessary to ensure
patient safety. Contact a qualified service personnel, your
local Nellcor representative, or Nellcor's Technical Services
Department for assistance.

unable to correct it, contact qualified service personnel or your
local Nellcor representative. The N-600x Service Manual, which is
for use by qualified service personnel, provides additional
troubleshooting information.
