The performance of the N-600x is verified by following the
procedures outlined in the Performance Verification section of the
N-600x Service Manual. Qualified service personnel should
perform these procedures before initially using the monitor in a
clinical setting.
Certain patient conditions can affect the measurements of the
N-600x and cause the loss of the pulse signal.
Inaccurate measurements can be caused by:

incorrect sensor application
•
failure to cover the sensor with opaque material in
high ambient light conditions
