REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle:
Towing and lifting) (02A, Lifting equipment).
a Apply the discharge procedure for the exhaust injec-
tor fuel supply system (see 19B, Exhaust, Exhaust
fuel injector: Removal - Refitting, page 19B-121) .
a Remove:
- the engine undertray bolts,
- the engine undertray,
- the lower engine tie-bars (see 1 9 D, Engine
mounting, Lower engine tie-bar: Removal - Re-
fitting, page 19D-85) .

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART

a Disconnect:
- the exhaust fuel injector connector (1) ,
- the fuel supply union (2) of the exhaust fuel injec-
a Insert the blanking plugs.
a Separate the fuel supply union from the exhaust fuel
injector.
a Fit the tools (Ms. 583) on the cooling hoses of the
exhaust fuel injector cooler at (3) .
