In the D- and E-Frame frequency converters, it is possible
to connect the fieldbus from the top of the unit, as shown
in the following illustrations. On the IP21/54 (NEMA-1/
NEMA-12) unit, a cover plate must be removed.
The kit number for the fieldbus top connection is
176F1742.

Torque: 0.5-0.6 Nm (5 in-lbs)

24 V DC external supply can be used as a low-voltage
supply to the control card and any installed option cards.
This enables full operation of the LCP (including parameter
setting) without connection to mains. Note that a warning
of low voltage displays when 24 V DC has been connected;
however, there is no tripping.
